Yu Yu Hakusho
This is the story of a 14-year-old juvenile delinquent who dies once, but is brought back to life to work as a sort of psychic detective/troubleshooter. As his "Ki" powers increase, he and his friends (who include 2 demons) run into more and more nasty-bads. Finally, they are challenged to a gigantic demonic competition, which unfortunately lasts a grand total of 7 books out of the entire series, though it supposedly lasts only about 10 days. They win, of course, but are immediately faced with the problem of Some (Powerful) Idiot opening a hole between the Real World and the Demonic Plane. After that, things rapidly wrap up.

Characters of the Show
There are 4 main Characters of the show. Along with others, and evil bad dudes. It's an awsome anime to watch and fights are great. I'm sry I couldn't add all the other Characters Like Yomi, Kuronue, Toguro, Genkai, Keiko, Suzaku, Sensui, ItSuki, Rinku, Toyoua, Amanuma, kaname's (Bro and sis). The list goes on!

Yusuke (Eugene)
This 14 year old punk is the star of Yu Yu Hakusho ^_^. He was the worst student in his Junior High School. He got bad grades, skipped all of his classes and did not care about the law. And he is the toughest kid at Sarayashiki Junior High School. He fought 24/7. His biggest rival is Kuwabara, but Kuwabara always got his butt kicked by Yusuke. Yusukes life changed when he sacrificed his life for a little kid. Yusuke doing that changes the course of the show and it gets interesting and full of action!!

Kuwabara (Alfred)
I like to Called him Kuwabaka. He is Yusuke's rival. There is not a big difference between them, they get in trouble,fight,curse,skip classes,cause chaos and pretty much everything you can name. Kuwabara's main goal is to defeat Yusuke in a street fight but he fails all the time. He always gets his butt kicked. That all changes and Kuwabara and Yusuke become friends as the story goes along. Kuwabara joins Yusuke in his journey in the Spirit World.

Hiei (Vincent)
Hiei is a Fire Demon who was born in the Ice Country Koorime and that is known as a curse. He was cast from the Ice Country into the world of Makai. He was given a tear gem of his mother and the Ruri told him to be strong and so he was sent to the world of Makai. A group of thieves raised him then later on abandon him. He lost his tear gem when he was in a battle. So he wanted to find his Ice Country Koorime but he needed the third eye the Jagan to find it. With the power of the Jagan he can control weak Demons and he can use Jagans powerfull techniques. He got the Jagan implanted by Shiqure but he had to keep his end of the bargain. He must never tell his sister who he really is. Later on he becomes friends with Kurama and they try to steal the ancient artifacts in the Spirit World, but they caught and they were defeated by Yusuke and as their punishment they must join Yusuke on his journey. Kurama (Dennis)
Kurama is a demon in a human body , in fact he is more than 300 years old in his demon form. He is powerfull and strong and he has no mercy, he is also soft spoken and very wise as well. His techniques are deadly and dangerous. He is sometimes mistaken for a girl. He is a good friend of Hiei and they try to steall the ancient artifacts but get caught and defeated by Yusuke and as their punishment they have to join Yusuke on his journey |
Koenma (MASTER JERICHO )
his my favortie YYH Char *sighs* Though appearing as a toddler, Koenma, the son of Enma-Sama (King Yama), is actually over 700 years old. Koenma's responsibilities include stamping paperwork regarding which individuals will go to heaven or hell, and assigning Yusuke his assignments. Koenma is also capable of shape shifting into a teenage version of himself when he feels his present stature is inadequate for whatever current situation he is in (However, even in his older form, he still has the pacifier in his mouth).

Botan ( CHARLENE )
She is known as the diety of death ( and bubble-headed ) and also considered as Yusuke's guardian / assistant. She is also a reliable friend to Yusuke. She often flies to rei kai / ningenkai sitting on a wooden canoe in pink kimono clothes. Botan is under prince Koenma's authority and she often serves as his messenger to Yusuke whether if Yusuke has a mission or if there are some urgent information. She does not posses fighting capabilities like the others but she does have some powers ( as a spirit ) that are useful in times of need.

Yukina (MIKAELA)
The sensitive, innocent, sweet, and pretty ice maiden from Koorime. She has powers using ice and she can also heal. Yukina left Koorime ( in makai ) to search for his missing brother, Hiei. She doesn't know what he looks like but she still continues to search. When Hiei heard about her abduction, he went as fast as he can to the place where she's being held prisoner by an evil merchant in ningenkai. She was tortured so she could shed tears that turn to pearls. She was saved by Yusuke and Kuwabara, who helplessly fell inlove with her. When Hiei finally saw her he did not introduced himself as her long lost brother , but only as a friend.

Jin (JINDA)
A goblin who uses wind technique. Jin was one of the toughest opponents that Yusuke faced during the ankoku. Jin is very skilled in using his wind techniques. His attacks were not bad either. He was the first youkai to encounter Yusuke's "spirit light bullet" technique which knocked him out. After their match, he was pretty amazed with Yusuke because of his strength. From that point on, Jin and Yusuke became friends.

Karasu
This may come as a surprise but I guess his villaneous character is simply irressistable. Karasu was introduced during the Ankoku Bujutsukai and a member of the Toguro team. He was once defeated by Toguro ( like bui ) and he was like a slave since then, following Toguro's orders. Karasu has the ability to create extraordinary bombs that are very deadly and he also has an ability to blow anything up just by touching it. And he seemed to have interest in Kurama which brought shivers and trauma ( not serious ) to Kurama. Fortunately, he was defeated and killed by Kurama, but Kurama lost the match because he didn't got up in the count of ten.
